I am an academic and a product developer working in Norway, at the University in Bergen. A beautiful city on the west coast of Norway.

I work in the general area of Information Science, with primary interests in the Semantic and the Social Web, and how they can help one another.

I am also an iOS app developer (soon also Android) with two linked data powered applications available. MapXplore lets you explore the map with WikiPedia and other linked data.

AutoMind is an exciting new app that builds semantic mind maps from linked data.

My most proud achievement is a biography of my father (also the link on the left) who was the greatest weightlifter of his generation. A true genius of sport who invented his own training system which made his beloved homeland Hungary into one of the greatest weightlifting nations on Earth.

I have a blog which is pretty static, but which has some of my early ideas about tagging and folksonomy. I also maintain a second blog on mobile semantics.

Oh and the cat. Rescued from abandonment and close to blindness and certain death. Tragically, she fell victim to an animal attack and human incompetence. From dust to dust.

Welcome to my site
